“The arc of grace is longer than we know, for heaven’s calendar is more patient than ours. We call for metrics, standards, things done orderly and with speed. But Jesus knows that disciples are best made with gentleness, on long afternoon walks, and through the slow and steady growth of first admiration, and then—later—love. The Lord Who plans on spending eternity with us won’t rush a good decision. Grace can wait for love to grow, for love will outlast all the ravages of time. So stay in grace.”
