This beloved regional conference camp meeting takes place near historic Pine Forge Academy campus, which was a stop on the underground railroad.

Instead, its Church Ministries Department will conduct a fair with resources, prizes, and other fun.

• Fun Facts: This camp meeting is extremely popular! The Soquel Conference Center has housed this event since 1948. In July, California’s Central Valley often has 15 to 25 consecutive days of triple-digit temperatures, but the cool weather of this beach community stays comfortably in the 70s. You are sure to enjoy your time here for that and so many other reasons.

The property is now home to the Oregon Conference headquarters, an Adventist Book Center, Holden Convention Center, an assisted living facility, and 1,000 spaces for RVs and tents to house attendees during both English and Spanish meetings.

• Fun Facts: A chili supper with Southern gospel music kicks things off on Friday evening. All meals on Sabbath—breakfast, lunch, and dinner—are free of charge. In fact, there is no preregistration requirement. There is plenty of room for tent camping, and spots for a few RVs. There are horse-drawn wagon rides, horses to ride, and a youth scavenger hunt on Sabbath afternoon.
