‘Forgiven much; forgiving much.’ This is the genius of the gospel: grace never stops or ends or pauses, and so it liberates the world. The freedom Jesus meant for me was never meant for only me. It is His joy to teach us skills of setting others free—of canceling their debts, not adding up their sins. When our hearts sing ‘I am forgiven,’ we also sing ‘so I forgive.’ We are twice blessed: our sins fall off, and so do all our grudges. So stay in grace.
