CAMBODIA

Adventist Pastors in Cambodia Gear Up for Online Outreach

The Cambodia Adventist Mission’s (CAM) Communication Department launched a two-day digital evangelism training on May 26-27. Se Kimseng, CAM Communication director, led the event at the CAM Training Center in Phnom Penh. The program brought together more than 20 pastors from across the country to equip them with essential digital communication skills for mission.

Cambodia, with a population of about 18 million, is predominantly Buddhist, with approximately 97 percent adhering to that faith. This religious landscape presents unique challenges and opportunities for Christian evangelism, particularly in the digital realm, regional church leaders said.

The training program focused on enhancing pastors’ abilities in storytelling, social media engagement, and the utilization of artificial intelligence tools to amplify their evangelistic outreach. “By embracing digital platforms, CAM aims to extend its reach and share the message of Jesus Christ more effectively within the 10/40 window—a region characterized by limited access to Christian resources.”

“This training is a much-needed step forward for our pastors,” Kimseng said. “It equips them with practical tools to begin their own digital evangelism efforts. We still have much to learn, but this experience has opened our eyes to new opportunities . . . in the digital space.”

UNITED STATES

Adventist Attorneys Reconnect in First Lake Union Fellowship in More Than 20 Years

For the first time in more than two decades, Adventist attorneys from across the Lake Union Conference in the United States gathered for a day of fellowship and connection. The event, held on May 17, brought together legal professionals who share not only a calling to judicial fairness but a commitment to faith.

The keynote speaker was Todd McFarland, deputy general counsel for the General Conference. McFarland emphasized that what distinguishes an Adventist attorney is not just the work they do, but the purpose behind it. “It’s not so much what we do, but why we do it—and whom we do it for,” he said, highlighting the role of Christian lawyers in building a better society.

The gathering was more than a professional networking event—it was an opportunity for the lawyers to build relationships and support each other in their unique vocations. “It is such a blessing to be able to make connections with other Adventist attorneys in our union who are engaged in so many different areas of law,” said Jennifer Woods, Lake Union Conference attorney, who organized the event. “I hope this is just the beginning of many more Lake Union attorney fellowships to come.”

ECUADOR

Nuevo Tiempo TV Network Brings Hope to Quito Citizens at Adventist Health Fair

On Sunday, May 18, Nuevo Tiempo Ecuador actively participated in the health fair held in a neighborhood in the country’s capital of Quito. The activity, organized with the support of several Seventh-day Adventist institutions, such as healthy-food factory Alimentos CADE, Adventist Book Centers, and the local Adventist clinic, sought to share ways to promote the benefits of a healthy life among the community.

The health fair, which ran from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., allowed local church district members to share principles of physical, mental, and spiritual health. Nuevo Tiempo Ecuador joined this initiative with a dynamic stand, which included interactive games and the promotion of the Bible school.

The health fair enabled Nuevo Tiempo to connect with 23 community residents who are not members of the Adventist Church. “They agreed to take the Bible studies we offered them, and now they will be contacted soon,” local church leaders said. “It was another way of sharing the Bible’s message of hope by all possible means, including our health message.”

PAKISTAN

Loud Voice Evangelism Inspires Young Hearts in Narang

On April 5 a spiritual movement swept through the small town of Narang as children gathered for a life-changing event titled “I Will Go With Jesus,” part of the Loud Voice Evangelism initiative. Farzana Maqsood, Children’s Ministries director of the Pakistan Union Section, organized the event at the Narang church, drawing dozens of children from the local community. Many of them decided to follow Jesus.

“With joyful songs, engaging Bible stories, and a compelling message of love and salvation, the program ignited a spiritual spark in young hearts,” church leaders reported. “The message was simple yet profound: Jesus calls even the youngest to walk with Him in faith, courage, and love. For many, this was not just an inspiring moment but the beginning of a meaningful spiritual journey.”

One of the most visible results has been the growing number of children attending Sabbath School regularly, Maqsood reported. “Watching children respond so sincerely to the gospel reminds us that the Holy Spirit moves in every heart, regardless of age. Our mission is to continue nurturing these young disciples so they can grow into faithful leaders of the church,” she said.
