TRAVELING WITH GRACE

When our hearts are full of joy, or our eyes are full of tears, we grasp the mercy of our God far better than in textbook definitions. The grace that Jesus offers is the deepest love and comfort we will ever know: it cannot be reduced to only legal theories of how we are called “righteous.” Grace is, above all else, Christ’s arm around our shoulders; a promise to stay with us; a quietness that reassures—“I do not condemn you.” We’re never saved by theories or theology. We’re healed by love that seeks us at our worst and guides us toward God’s best. Grace is a daily walk with One who’s never in a hurry. Keep walking. Stay in grace.
