Grace and Safety

“We hunger for a new community built on Jesus’ grace. Here, we’re forgiven, but not diminished. We’re restored, and walking down the center aisle. Achievement doesn’t yield advancement; failure doesn’t kick us out. Our brokenness surprises no one: only sinners are allowed. Pride, like some unwanted cloak, is checked outside this sanctuary. The hymn we sing is still amazing: we were lost, but now we’re found. Invite the lame, the halt, the blind; for these we were, and some still are. Dream with me of such a place, and by His grace, let’s build it.”
