Laypastors in Ireland Receive Training During Weekend Retreat

Ever sat through a boring, uninspiring sermon? That is now less likely to happen in Ireland. As part of its preparation for 'Mission to the Cities', Irish Mission President, Pastor David Neal, invited Pastors Paul Clee and Llew Edwards to lead a 'How to prepare a sermon' weekend of training for a group of lay preachers.

During 7-9 March, lay folks came to the Kilnasoolah Mission Retreat centre near Shannon from all over the Irish Mission. Hosted by Pastor Tony O'Rouke, the weekend was not only informative but a spiritual blessing to all as we shared knowledge and practised our sermons. Paul and Llew were encouraged by the growing expertise of these committed lay people and their desire to share the Word of God.
