Tangible Grace
by

“Our grasp of grace is usually proportional to the gracious Christians in our lives. Behind the mask, when struggling with sins or suffering, we lack the faith that confidently recites from Romans or Ephesians. We ask, ‘If God is good—and yes, He is—how could He save a wretch like me?’ It takes a flesh-and-blood believer, just as it required a flesh-and-blood Saviour, to carry grace to troubled hearts. It is no less the grace of Christ because we learn it from brothers and sisters who hold us when we’re doubting and forgive us when we sin against them. Be grateful for the kindly souls who stay with you because they stay in grace. Hold on to them. And stay in grace.”
