Like Breathing In

by

How do we “grow in grace,” when all Christ is belongs to us at once–by gift? It isn’t more of Him we truly need. Jesus doesn’t amplify His love as a reward for faith, or forgive more sin when we have made a reformation. Grace teaches us to tell more truth about ourselves, lay down more pride, and quit the endless hide-and-seek that bars our fellowship with other broken souls. Growing in grace means building lung capacity–inhaling ever more of the gratitude that will be our unbroken experience of eternity. Deep breath now: stay in grace.
