Harvest Times Echoes 1990
TED publishes tribute edition for General Conference Session 2025

The Trans-European Division (TED) offered something both nostalgic and new as a signature giveaway at the General Conference (GC) Session in St. Louis, Missouri, United States: a one-time, 12-page print edition of Harvest Times, filled with highlights from TED news over the past three years.
But this isn’t just another publication. It’s modeled after a similar one-off print edition produced in July 1990 for the fifty-fifth GC Session in Indianapolis, Indiana, United States. That edition, led by then-TED president Jan Paulsen and his team, aimed to capture the pulse of mission and ministry at the time.
Now, 35 years later—and in the year of Jan Paulsen’s 90th birthday—the TED Communication team has revived the tradition. Their commemorative 2025 edition of Harvest Times, commissioned by Daniel Duda, current TED president, pays tribute to Paulsen’s legacy of visionary leadership and his commitment to keeping members informed, connected, and inspired.
The special issue was available exclusively at the TED booth in the GC Session exhibition hall. It featured stories of faith, innovation, and outreach from across the division’s 28 countries and territories, reminding readers that while the methods of communication may evolve, the message of hope and mission remains timeless.
