Grounded in the Bible

Have you ever dreamed of doing something for God, something great in His service, as in being a hero or changing the world? I have good news for you: If you are alive, you are called. You also have two choices—either join the ranks of Jesus, or by default be used as a tool of darkness.

Satan wants to destroy you. God wants to save you. The choice should be easy, shouldn’t it? Yet why do so many people hesitate to adopt God’s mission for their lives? Maybe they’re afraid that it will be too difficult, or they don’t want to say no to their naturally sinful human nature. Or maybe they don’t realize just how real the battle between good and evil is (we hope that this week’s stories will change that!).

If you are alive, you are called!

But with God, “nothing will be impossible” (Luke 1:37). Do you believe that God can do great things with your life? You’d better believe it! So take up your “sword” (the Bible) and focus on your mission. If you are breathing, if you are reading or hearing these words right now—God is calling you.
