Grace Like an Ocean
by

“Grace is the great adhesive that holds Christ’s church together. Our sins are driven by our egos: shame will make us hide in fear. Our bitter, unforgiven tongues lash out at other sinners, angling for some tiny turf to call our own. But grace that ‘saved a wretch like me’ saves all the other wretches just as well. In the ocean wave of grace, all willing sinners are washed clean, and brought to stand beside that sea that looks like glass. The chorus following the Lamb shares just one thought—that Christ is all—and so they sing. In our gratitude for grace, we learn to be His Body, now and ever-always. Discern the Body of the Lord—and stay in grace.”
