Forgiving Because Forgiven
by

“Grace is better grasped in moments when we grapple with forgiveness than those in which our souls are flooded with glory. We revel in the liberation of knowing that our sins are washed away, but we become like Jesus in the hard and patient work of forgiving those who sin against us. The act of forgiving teaches us how fully we have been forgiven. The grace we give is a growing measure of the grace we are receiving. Christ so designs to lead us that we may never say, ‘I have finished with forgiveness.’ So stay in grace.”
