Deeper than Crimson
by

“Grace, at its heart, means being reconciled to God, and thus requires the cross. Jesus, filling grace with truth, crossed out His name so that our names might never be erased. He blotted out our crimson sins with His own blood, deeper red on red. There is no grace without Christ’s death: not even love can take His place—‘whom God put forward as a sacrifice of atonement by his blood, effective through faith’ (Rom 3:25). His loss is our best hope of gain: His death makes life our destiny. So stay in grace.”
