CAMBODIA
Nationwide Evangelistic Series Results in More Than 1,000 Baptisms
More than 1,000 people were baptized across Cambodia following a nationwide evangelistic series, one of the largest reaping events in the country’s Adventist history.
From September 17 to 20 the Cambodia Mission (CAM) led the initiative in partnership with the Southern Asia-Pacific Division (SSD), the Southeastern Asia Union Mission (SEUM), and support from Adventist World Radio (AWR). The evangelistic meetings were conducted at 25 sites in Cambodia’s capital, Phnom Penh, and seven provinces, resulting in 1,022 individuals choosing baptism on September 20.
Despite heavy rains, national holidays, and regional challenges, Adventist pastors, Bible workers, and church members pressed forward with the message of hope. Much of the outreach centered in Cambodia’s northeast, where diverse ethnic groups—including Kuy, Brao, Kreung, Tampuan, Phnong, Jarai, Lao, and Vietnamese minorities—reside.
International leaders joined the effort, including SSD president Roger Caderma, SEUM president Somchai Chuenjit, AWR vice president Cami Oetman, and AWR Asia regional director Robert Dulay. Together with local leadership, they witnessed lives transformed.
“This historic harvest is a testimony of God’s power and the dedication of His people,” said CAM president Hang Dara. “The mission in Cambodia is not finished, but we are encouraged to continue reaching unreached villages with the gospel.”

BRAZIL
Food Factory Turns 100 Among Ongoing Innovation and Focus on Healthy Eating
Its history began with the production of a grape juice in 1925. It was the single product that started an industry focused on health-food innovation. In 1970 the company launched its first line of canned products. In 2018 it unveiled the first vegan chicken product in the country.
Superbom came to be recognized nationally and internationally, receiving important trophies and awards for the food industry. In 2019 it received an Innovation Award for its Burger Gourmet Superbom as the most innovative product in the vegan market. In 2021 it was recognized with a Superior Taste Award, which attested to its honey as the best in its category in the national market.
In 2025 the São Paulo City Council recognized Superbom contributions to society. Company leaders highlighted the importance of its achievements. “This reaffirms how important it is to work with a focus on health and well-being in addition to being a way to highlight the values, principles, and mission of Adventist institutions to society,” they said.

PHILIPPINES
Adventist University of the Philippines Graduate Ranks Fifth in National Board Exam
The Adventist University of the Philippines (AUP) once again brought pride to the Adventist community as one of its graduates secured the fifth spot in the September 2025 psychologist licensure examination. Danielle Elinore Ardeza achieved a score of 88.95, making her fifth in the national licensure examination. The achievement not only highlights the academic strength of the university but also reflects its mission to train students for professional service rooted in faith and commitment to God, institution leaders said.
AUP leaders and faculty members expressed joy over the result, recognizing it as both an academic success and a spiritual testimony. “Excellence is not simply about numbers or ranks; it is about honoring God with our best,” said Southern Asia-Pacific Division Health Ministries director Ma Rizaline Alfanoso. “We are grateful that our students are excelling academically while keeping Christ at the center of their lives,” she added.
The recognition of an AUP graduate among the topnotchers serves as an inspiration to current students and young Adventists across the region, leaders said. “It reflects the university’s wholistic approach to education—preparing graduates not only for professional distinction but also for a life of service.”

BANGLADESH
National Children’s Bible Conference Empowers 600 Young Voices for Jesus
The program blended worship and fellowship with a variety of activities that nurtured faith, creativity, and teamwork. Children engaged in Bible dramas, storytelling, memory verse challenges, and quizzes, while outdoor activities such as creation exploration, balloon art, and interactive games helped them to see God’s presence in everyday life. A special health booth reinforced the importance of caring for the body as God’s temple, while community outreach allowed the children to share action songs and distribute leaflets of hope.
Keynote speakers were Raquel Arrais, director of Children’s Ministries for the Northern Asia-Pacific Division; and Won Sang Kim, president of the Bangladesh Union Mission. “Your voices matter,” they told the kids repeatedly. “You can share Jesus’ love and truth in your homes, schools, and communities.”
On Sabbath the children reflected on “Jesus’ voice in nature.” The conference concluded with a profound spiritual impact as 34 children accepted Jesus as their personal Savior, leaders reported. “It filled the gathering with joy and thanksgiving,” they said.

SPAIN
Twenty-fifth Anniversary of HopeMedia Spain
Samuel Gil Soldevilla, until recently the Communication director of the Spanish Union of Churches, and now the newly appointed associate Communication director of the General Conference, took attendees on a journey through the history of the former Center for Multimedia Productions (CMP). He honored the founders, past directors, and the countless volunteers, technicians, musicians, and creatives whose unwavering contributions have fueled the institution’s growth throughout the years.
During the ceremony Soldevilla unveiled the results of the extensive expansion and renovation project. “The foundations of these new offices are not made of cement; they are built on people united in spirit and in truth,” Soldevilla said.
Soldevilla and Gabriel Begle, newly appointed director of HopeMedia Spain, highlighted some of the new projects, including the upcoming filming of the producer’s first feature film, scheduled for later this year and aimed at connecting with new generations through a fresh narrative style.
