 Culinary Success       [Main Story]

capThere are many recipe and cooking Web sites that can aid in building and developing culinary skills. One of my favorites is www.all

Gardening skills and issues can also often be learned on the Web. By using Google or similar search engines it is possible to get answers to questions about tomato disease, why garden, making compost, or growing amaryllis.

To get localized guidance, connect to a local gardening club; or (in the U.S.) find the Web site of your state’s agriculture extension service for solutions to your local conditions, recommended varieties, typical frost dates, etc. Keeping a journal will also enhance learning about what works for you.

Many communities have systems where plots are made available to gardeners. Check with your local recreation or parks department.
